Compartment
On this night train there are four types of accommodations to choose from.
The cheapest option are the seats. The seats are not in a separate compartment but rather in a large, open car, like on a regular train. Each seat has armrests, a headrest and a reading light. Seats are configured in groups of 4 with a table in the middle. There is ample storage space for suitcases and other items, such as strollers, skis and snowboards.
The couchettes offer more comfort and are a popular choice for groups and families. A couchette cabin is suitable for a maximum of 4 people. ÖBB provides a pillow, sheet and blanket for each passenger. It features amenities such as an extendable table, free Wi-Fi, adjustable lighting and various charging options (inductive charging and socket). You can close the compartment with a card (similar to a hotel room). There is plenty of storage space for luggage under the beds.
Men and women travel mixed, except in the women-only compartment. A small breakfast (hot drink, 1 sandwich, butter, jam) and a mineral water are included. Toilets and washing facilities are located in the corridor.
The mini cabin is designed for passengers traveling alone and is similar to a sleeping pod. It has a movable folding table, a mirror, clothes hangers, a reading lamp, a power socket and storage space. Adjecent to the cabin there are lockers available for your hand luggage (max. 40 x 55 x 23 cm) and shoes (max. 18 x 57 x 15 cm). Toilets and washing facilities are located in the corridor.
A sleeper cabin offer even more comfort. It has two built-in beds and also features a modern design with comfortable seats, a retractable table, door lock with an NFC card, adjustable ambient lighting, a modern control display with various convenience functions and several charging options (inductive charging and power socket). There are two categories of sleeper cabins. The comfort sleeping car has a private toilet with a washbasin and a built-in shower hose. The comfort plus sleeping car has a private bathroom, with a toilet, a washbasin and a separate shower cabin.
